Golf Day & Dinner

The Ambrose Golf Tournament takes place at Pennant Hills Golf Club on 19 February 2010. The Course and Clubhouse will be dressed overall in banners and bunting. Oysters and Champagne from will again feature on the 14^th tee and Caviar and Champagne on 6^th Tee. There are stunning team prizes to be won on every single golf hole including Blackberry personal communicators, Ricoh Cameras and cases of fine wine. Hole-in-one prizes include Business Class tickets to international destinations. Each player will receive a players pack which includes travel bag as well as shirt, cap, golf balls, divot kit and tees. The morning and afternoon field totals some 264 Golfers. All teams will be provided with electric carts. The 19^th Hole includes complimentary BBQ and bar. Members of the winning team who are Reuters customers are invited to compete in the Reuters Global Golf Challenge on an all expenses paid trip to one of the world’s best golf courses.

The Foundation organises a Black Tie Gala Dinner as part of the Charity Golf Day. The Gala Dinner will place on Friday 19 February 2010 (the same day as the Golf Tournament) at Sydney’s Westin Hotel located at Martin Place. The dinner, for some 750 guests, includes top international entertainers.

During the dinner a fully electronic silent auction will be held for 130 auction items ranging from luxury holidays flying business class to some of the world’s most exotic and beautiful locations, trips and tickets to top sporting events including Wimbledon Tennis Finals, Hong Kong Sevens, US Masters, British Open and the Ryder Cup, fine wines, stunning jewellery, a game of tennis on centre court on finals day of a top international tennis tournament and a number of paintings from top Australian artists.

A charity raffle with prizes valued at $19,000 will also be held.
